This was a sick chicken so we practiced on it first; that way we could just throw it away in the end. :) It was a wonderful experience for us!
Thank you, Grace and Mom, for taking pictures! You were swell photographers!
Thank you, Mom, Emmie, KK, Brie, Grace, and Sam for all your help!

A job well done...
"Where do you want this revolting object?"
Swish, swish
Repulse
Doubt
Dubious
Keep at it KK!
"I think it is ready!"
EEEW!!! ICK!!!
"It stinks!"
You did it!
Keep on plucking!
Now for the crop...
Many hands make light work, sometimes
HOW DO YOU GET THE GUTS OUT?
Concentration at its height!
PULL!
WHAT ARE WE DOING WRONG???
Well, at least that is something
Good job, Sam!
Here is our problem! We didn't finish getting the crop out and cutting the throat! Brilliant! You can't pull all that through the neck. Just for your information! :)
(We had to get online and look up how to butcher chickens because we could NOT get the insides out! It was then that we found out what we were doing wrong. I butchered chickens last when I was around 8 years old.)
Yum yum!
Faces say it all
One dirty chicken
At long last!
Almost done
Sorry, we did not get a 'finished' picture, so it ends rather abruptly. :)
Hope you enjoyed this!
