Announcing, Junior...

Announcing the newest Grice!

We don't know what it is yet,  (I mean, of course it's a baby) but we (both sides of the family) have an "inkling" that it's a boy. I dubbed him "Junior."

He's due tentatively around the end of June, beginning of July.

These pictures are from the night they told us about Baby #2. Sadly, Dad, Ry and Josh had to work late so they missed the initial announcement, but they still got to hear the news second hand.

Abi and I had gone over early in answer to Kels' SOS call. She was running behind so we went over to help her. I had already been slightly suspicious, but different things that I saw that night confirmed my suspicions. Everybody always says, "I wondered" , but I really was suspicious!

Big Sister-to-be, though we didn't know it yet.

Kels had made everything really pretty. I don't know how she did it while battling morning sickness!

She made a traditional Smith Chicken Pot Pie.

Baby Girl has learned to enjoy her high chair.

Though, she didn't really like it this time. :)

She loves watching people eat!

Once I was done eating, I held her for Kels.

So sweet...

I saw this cake in the fridge earlier when we were helping Kels. That was another red flag.

Stinker...

Kels asked Mom to cut the cake...

...And, lo and behold, it's pink and blue inside!

Techno Baby

She loves anything electronic!

Hm... Uncle KK is kinda weird. Gotta take him as he is, I guess.

Mm... Yummy chair...

The crowd of Katelyn worshipers. :)

This is what happens when boys play with baby toys.

The happy family. :)

What do you think the baby will be? Pick the layer!

Happy Birthday, Nate!

Sunday, November 24 was Nate's 26th birthday. Even though he wasn't here, we celebrated his birthday. I had tried this new dessert recipe called Pumpkin Cobbler, so we had that instead of cake and whipped topping instead of ice cream. :)

Pumpkin Cobbler

Ry brought over a yummy chicken pot pie for supper.

Yum!

Pumpkin cobbler's half gone! BTW, it was very "scrummy", as we say.

Here's your birthday present, Nate... Pictures of Katelyn!

She can roll all over and scoot around on her back.

Ryan said that she was the only one in the room that could balance on her bellybutton. :)

Reaching for the camera.

Beached whale

Aw...

Sammy told me that we should call this picture "Getting advice from Grandma." :)

She loved chewing on this stuffed kangaroo.

Just after I put the camera away, she really started cooing and rolling all over. Oh, well, this video was cute too.

Time for a tired baby to go home.

Our cute little papoose!

Trying to Catch Up...

As you have probably noticed, I've gone off the radar for awhile. Ok, for a long time. I have one word for you. Life. Guys, life reall...
