Christmas Caroling with Smiths

We left Saturday morning after Bible Study for Holdrege, NE to go Christmas caroling with friends in Axtell.

It was a busy, but lazy, full and fun weekend! :) But it wasn't the same without you two, Nate and Whit. You're absence was felt by all!

Sadly, I forgot our camera, so these pictures are from Ryan's camera. The traveling pictures are from our cell phones. :)

All of us in our car had left without breakfast. Cheap alternative breakfast: McDonald's! I got their White Chocolate Mocha, yum!

:)

Baby enjoyed Aunt Kearn's pickle. :)

This was the line for the one girl's bathroom. They ended up using the boy's bathroom to make things move faster. :)

Suiting up

We went out and caroled for awhile, then came back for a warm up and potty brake.

Bird was sitting right under the water cooler. :)

Heading back out to the trailer! Sorry the pictures are so bad. Since it was dark, they weren't very nice,  then I exported them and that dropped the quality down even farther.

Gathering to sing.

It was pretty cold, but not as cold as it was when we went caroling that Friday at our church.

A very blurry picture of the packed flat bed and truck bed.

The whole group (except me).

Back at the building, they set up a game of "Catch Phrase."

Clean up time!

That night at Smiths, we stayed up till nearly 1 am, visiting and having a nice time.

~Sunday~
Avers let Kater play with a sugar cookie. :)

Everybody getting cereal.

After church, most of us and Dad went to the Kearney skating rink. Those that didn't have their skates along had to rent skates. That was interesting. It was packed out on the ice! Toward the end, the ice was so cut up that there wasn't an inch of smooth ice left except for in the middle.

Holdrege's Horrible Headless Horror
Micah tucked his head into the crack of the couch and covered his face with his hat. :)

Dad put his hand in front of my picture. :)

Buggy loved these two dolls!

Best buddies

Ellie was holding Katelyn while sitting in a tote.

Everybody was wore out!

Ice cream!

They put a ball on Otis' nose and told him to wait. When Mark says "Ok", Otie flicks the ball off and snaps at the bite that he drops for him. :)

Vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, and maple nut ice cream

Look at all those coffee mugs! You can tell that this is a coffee guzzling household. :)

The skating rink put an "X" with permanent marker on everyone's hand, like the zoo does. You can still see it on my hand today.

That Sunday evening we played catch phrase again.

I stepped in for Avers on the last several rounds. It was so much fun!

Addison vs Kiley
When Catch Phrase was done (the boys won, by the way), there were checkers matches for anyone brave enough to try. :)

Avery set up a violin with some lights and got some nice pictures!

Abe vs Sheila

Surprise! It started to snow that night!

~Monday~
Monday morning, we stopped in at the mall. They have it set up beautifully!

This coffee is so yummy!

The Apple Smith offers coffee now! Mom and I took some for the road, boy was it good!

Sheila stocked us up on candy too, so we were candy and coffeed out!

Trying to Catch Up...

As you have probably noticed, I've gone off the radar for awhile. Ok, for a long time. I have one word for you. Life. Guys, life reall...
