Christmas Caroling

On Friday the 13th, we went Christmas Caroling as a church.

All the people that we caroled for seemed very blessed. Several of the older people actually got teary eyed! It was a blessing to know that we were being a blessing to someone.

Some of us got together before hand to decorate cookies for the goodie bags that we were going to pass out. Only Chupps, Brie and Grace and our family showed up. Ugh, all those cookies to decorate by ourselves! But, we got it done!

Bread bags make for good frosting sleeves, but, user be warned, they tend to have blow outs! :)

All the cookies were packaged in festive bags.

Getting ready for the chili supper.

Ham...

Mm... Chupps and we brought chili for everybody.

Shawn made a mess with his boots so I had to take a picture of him mopping it up. :)

This is back at church after the caroling. I didn't want to have to lug the camera around out in the cold, so I left it back at church. Mabel prepared hot water for chocolate and hot apple cider while we were out. Martins brought some yummy bars for the snack.

I love Lois Ann's face! Obviously, she wasn't pleased with having her picture taken! :)

Ah, you can always trace the little people by their messes.

Cleaning up...

Poor Amy was tired.

Getting ready to go home after our cold night out.
