Levi and Michelle's Wedding

Here's the promised picture post of Levi and Michelle Chupp's wedding.

The limo really intrigued us... It was a stretched out Hummer.

They were married at a Lutheran church.

The church house was very interesting. The sanctuary was pretty small with a slanting floor and a balcony.

Saying their vows

Lighting the unity candle

"Mr. and Mrs. Levi Chupp!"

Waiting for the bride and groom

This is just part of the crowd outside the church.

"Here comes the bride..."

Every family member got a balloon then let it loose in memory of Levi and Michelle's baby girl, Aubrelyn (I can't remember if that's how it's spelled), who died when she was just 3 days old. She would have been a year old Aug. 3, the day of the wedding.

There they go!

Levi & Michelle had a special butterfly balloon for their baby.

Thankfully, it didn't get caught on the tree like most of them did. :)

The limo again

Several people from our church lent them roasters for the reception supper. We found Gram's. :)

Complimentary chocolate rose.

At the reception hall, we had to wait for the bridal party to get there. Once they finally got there, the bridal party and both sides of the family (extended too!) had to go through the line. We were so hungry!

Just Dad, Mom, Abi, Irene, Annetta and I went. The boys stayed home.

The girls started playing around with the decorative marble things on the table.

Abi's eye, two times bigger.

Irene put some black ones behind her glasses. :)

Mabel had asked if we girls could help bus tables. Several of the Chupp's cousins were helping too, so we paired up and got most of the tables cleared pretty fast. They had packed the tables so tight that we could hardly get in between chairs and people to bus. It was fun, though!

Cutting the cake!

The lighting was horrible for pictures, so I had to edit to get them to look halfway decent.

Stuff it in!

Smash!

Levi had cake all over his nose and chin. Michelle faired better. :)

The bridal party's table was decorated really cute.

The next day at church, everybody had left but the Zooks and us. The boys started doing push ups and other manly accomplishments.

Even the little guys got involved! (Abi and I did too, but only when it was appropriate!)

Katelyn and Volleyball

Hello!

It's been awhile since I've posted, and, the only excuse I can offer is being too busy. Poor excuse, I know.

Excuses aside, we have been staying on our toes!

Last Saturday (Aug. 3) we went to Levi & Michelle Chupp's wedding (post to follow shortly).

Yesterday, Dad, Ry, Ben, Josh, Matthias, KK, and Joel headed west to Cheyenne, WY to help with the church construction for Cheyenne Christian Fellowship. Josh and Ben have to be back by Saturday for their flying talk with Robert S. They're leaving Friday evening and driving all night. Wow!

We're having company on Thursday. Rich and Kwila Schneider are stopping through on a family trip. We haven't seen them since May for the SOP weekend, so it'll be really nice to see them again!

Now for the pictures... I've got quite an array of them today, from Katers to volleyball! :)

Grace was talking to Katers, and was rewarded with lots of smiles and even coos!

Too Cute!

She's 2 1/2 months old now! Time sure does fly...

Grandpa was holding her when I got this really cute shot of her big eyes peeking over his shoulder. :)

 Volleyball with the Chupps
Mabel texted last week asking if we'd like to meet at Pilot Grove for an impromptu game of volleyball. Their son and daughter-in-law were here from California for Levi and Michelle's wedding.

KK

Sam and Timmy, zoomed all over the park on their bikes.

High ball!

Mabel's funny face... :)

run, run, RUN!

Mom and Jacquelyn (sp?)

That's the grand baby, Ethan, from Californy.

The lighting wasn't very good for photography. Despite most of the shots being fuzzy, I got some nice ones!

Swinging and talking

Aw... 'ere see is again wiss her gamma...

So Cute

She's old enough now that when she cries, it's with real, heart breaking crocodile tears.

Squeeze 'er!

Trying to Catch Up...

As you have probably noticed, I've gone off the radar for awhile. Ok, for a long time. I have one word for you. Life. Guys, life reall...
