Levi and Michelle's Wedding

Here's the promised picture post of Levi and Michelle Chupp's wedding.

The limo really intrigued us... It was a stretched out Hummer.

They were married at a Lutheran church.

The church house was very interesting. The sanctuary was pretty small with a slanting floor and a balcony.

Saying their vows

Lighting the unity candle

"Mr. and Mrs. Levi Chupp!"

Waiting for the bride and groom

This is just part of the crowd outside the church.

"Here comes the bride..."

Every family member got a balloon then let it loose in memory of Levi and Michelle's baby girl, Aubrelyn (I can't remember if that's how it's spelled), who died when she was just 3 days old. She would have been a year old Aug. 3, the day of the wedding.

There they go!

Levi & Michelle had a special butterfly balloon for their baby.

Thankfully, it didn't get caught on the tree like most of them did. :)

The limo again

Several people from our church lent them roasters for the reception supper. We found Gram's. :)

Complimentary chocolate rose.

At the reception hall, we had to wait for the bridal party to get there. Once they finally got there, the bridal party and both sides of the family (extended too!) had to go through the line. We were so hungry!

Just Dad, Mom, Abi, Irene, Annetta and I went. The boys stayed home.

The girls started playing around with the decorative marble things on the table.

Abi's eye, two times bigger.

Irene put some black ones behind her glasses. :)

Mabel had asked if we girls could help bus tables. Several of the Chupp's cousins were helping too, so we paired up and got most of the tables cleared pretty fast. They had packed the tables so tight that we could hardly get in between chairs and people to bus. It was fun, though!

Cutting the cake!

The lighting was horrible for pictures, so I had to edit to get them to look halfway decent.

Stuff it in!

Smash!

Levi had cake all over his nose and chin. Michelle faired better. :)

The bridal party's table was decorated really cute.

The next day at church, everybody had left but the Zooks and us. The boys started doing push ups and other manly accomplishments.

Even the little guys got involved! (Abi and I did too, but only when it was appropriate!)

:)

  1. Well, these are just outstanding wedding photographs! I am also going to attend my best friend’s destination wedding. She has reserved a private beach wedding venues for her reception. I have never been to a wedding like that, so I am quite excited for this wedding.
