"The Wages of Sin is DEATH"

"If you will not have death unto sin, you shall have sin unto death. There is no alternative. If you do not die to sin, you shall die for sin. If you do not slay sin, sin will slay you."
-Charles Spurgeon-

Sin is like poison ivy. It looks very pretty; pretty enough to pick and fondle it. We all know the effects of poison ivy... It leaves nasty, pussy, itchy and irritating sores that spread like wildfire.

That is exactly what sin does to us. When one toys with sin, it will spread just like the poison ivy sore. Only, sin will end in death and an eternity in hell.

The only way to escape the wages of sin is to be washed in the blood of Jesus, to confess your sins, ask for God's forgiveness in true contrition and repentance and put your trust in Jesus. You need to do a complete 180* turn. Don't be like the dog and the pig in 2 Peter 2:22 by turning back to your sins, "But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire."
