Sorry, I don't have really have time to write a long post. I'll just have to let the pictures speak for themselves.
Tent meeting preparations... (Tuesday)
I'm not sure what these two were doing...
Sanctuary chairs
The men's bathroom got a major face lift!
No need for words...
Playing with a ball in the cleared out sanctuary.
I had the job of painting the men's bathroom doors. It took me from 6 to about 10 or 10:30 pm (with prayer in between) to finish them.
Cleaning bathrooms
Cleaning and organizing the kitchen.
Our little Katerpitter
It was hot in there! The ceiling fan wasn't working right, so 'Thias fixed it.
Marty's help :)
Out of the depths
Moving the podium
BTW, I looked the meaning of podium and pulpit up. A podium is a raised platform and a pulpit is a desk like thing that someone speaks from... Hope that settles the friendly dispute. :)
Gathering for prayer
Decorating the cork board
First Day (Wednesday)
Spraying bug spray
Gram got four cans of spray, which cost about $35. They were supposed to use one can each night. Well, they used all four cans that night...
Poor recording guy. That was a stressful week for him.
GusGus and the hymnals
Cross walk signs and their buckets... Oh, and Caleb.
Waiting for the cinder blocks
Singing
Dad preached the first night.
He preached on "A Change of Master."
Second Day (Thursday)
Edward preached, "Setting our House in Order" on Thursday night. He used the example of a trumpet vine that a customer of his let grow all over her house. The little roots dig into every little crevasse they could find, slowly undermining the siding, roof, caulking, etc. It looks pretty from far away, but up close you can see the damage that those little roots have done. "Sin will take you farther..."
Visiting
Katers just started to grab with her hands and put stuff in her mouth. She started that night with my finger! :)
So cute!!!

Third Day (Friday)
Thursday night, guest speaker from Fulton, SD, Thaddeus Peight, preached on "The Common Atheist." There are more atheists around than we think, and right in our midst too. By living like there is no God, i.e., denying God through our actions, we proclaim to the world that there is no God. His message was like listening to Ray Comfort!
Thaddeus was a very good speaker. Most of his messages were preached without any notes.
Fourth Day (Saturday)
Noah and Johnny Smith surprised us by showing up Friday afternoon. The two little girls are the Peight's, Cassie on the left and Brooke on the right.
Mo Hofer preached Saturday afternoon's message. He shared his testimony of how he moved out of the Hutterite colony and out into the world, where God delivered him from smoking, alcohol and everything else that goes with that life style.
It was a blessing to see how much he loves his Jesus!
Before the evening message, the Smiths shared a couple songs with us.
I'm sorry, but I didn't catch Thaddeus's message title. He touched on a wide variety of subjects during this message- condemnation causes us to fall into sin, damning sin and ignorant sin.
Fifth Day (Sunday)
Sunday morning, Edward preached on, "Let us Walk in the light."
I didn't take notes for Thaddeus's main message as Abi and I had to help Rhonda (his wife) with their children. Maybe check the Martin's blog for better sermon notes. :)
Mo preached on "The Uniqueness of the Foundation of the Gospel" that afternoon.
Bird
This is Aneesha (sp?) Thaddeus and Rhonda's littlest girl. She was so cute!
*Thank you Ben and Noah for taking pictures for me!*
Daddy moderating
After everyone left, we all stayed around to get everything out of the tent and clean the church up.
Poor Amy was so tired!
We ate leftovers from the weekend for supper. There were still lots of cookies left! :)
Valeria, cleaning off our white board signs.
Bringing in the pulpit and sound equipment back in.
Here comes the podium!
Empty tent
We happened to pick the hottest week out of the whole year to have tent meetings. It was so hot! Thankfully, we got fans with the tent this time, so that made it a lot more bearable.
Cd duplicating booth :)
We had quite the process going here! Chairs work great as tables! :)
