A few normal days between the Holidays...

After Christmas and before New Years, we were able to have a few semi normal days. :)

Daddy has been mudding over at Leon's so we usually have muddy mud pans soaking in the sink. Resourceful Abi filled the pan on the right with hot water to defrost some sausage. :)

Mom cut up a carrot for Dad's lunch and threw the refuse into the slop bucket. Later that evening, I noticed this face. I asked everybody if they'd done it, but everyone denied having arranged the pieces. We finally concluded that that must be how they fell into the bucket. :)

Josh has been recycling some old barn wood into trim for the attic.

We girls weren't too sure how it was going to look since the wood was red. Red trim against light blue walls??? Despite our misgivings, it actually looks really nice!

The remains of the ginger bread house that a cleaning client of ours gave us.

On Sunday, we had Aunt Carol, Gram, and Ry and Kels over.

Did you ever see a face as sweet as this?

There was a squirrel hiding in the tree the other day.

Abi was playing around with fingerprints again...

She cleaned the phone off really well, and planted a nice thumb print on it. Then, she sprinkled cream of tartar on to bring the print out. As you can see, it came out beautifully!

Sammy has started wood burning. He made this sweet little present for Mom.
