Grice Doings

What have the Grices been up to? Scroll down through the pictures to find out...

KK came in from the chicken coop the other day with a tiny pullet egg. We were all oohing and ahing over it. It was so cute!

These pictures don't really do it justice. The egg was a lot smaller than it looks in these pictures!

Mangos are yummy! I'd never had a mango till last night. It was pretty tasty! I expected it to be sour, but it wasn't at all.

Both of our Amaryllises are blooming! Oh, I was so excited when I found the buds! This one is the "Apple Blossom."

This is the "Red Lion."

Dad, sunning himself. :)

KK did the dishes for us the other day.

Abi, counting up her moola.

The last of the birthday cupcakes... Sad...

The boys have been beaming everybody with this laser.

Abi was taking pictures of me. Naughty girl.

Brie and Grace came over to spend the afternoon on Friday.

Uho, he didn't get his school done. It's no fun when you have to do school when your cousins are there!

The moon was just gorgeous last night. Our camera is nice, but it doesn't take good night pictures at all. Occasionally, it surprises us with a really nice night picture, but not often, unfortunately.

Nate has been just malling his poor left hand while he's been working at Premier Sheds in Red Oak. Yesterday he smashed his finger, who knows how, while he was sawing a board.

Awhile ago, he got a good sized sliver in the loose flesh between his thumb and pointer. Then he shot himself with the nail gun on the top of his thumb. At some point, he hit himself with the nail gun a couple more times. Gotta watch that guy. :)

Having fun with the laser.

Sam put these tiny goggles on and was oblivious as to how cute he was. :)

The boys made their belts really loose so that they could have holsters. I think that these are the wrong size...

The moon was so bright last night that it was lighting everything up. The contrast between light and dark was really pretty. It looked like it could be a post card. Sadly, our camera can't capture things like that. :(

This morning, Dad and Mom went out for a belated Valentine breakfast. We children wanted to do something special for us, so I suggested crepes.

Dad and Mom got home partway through the crepe making, so Mom helped me dress them up.

I hadn't made crepes since I was a little girl! We as a family haven't had crepes for prob'ly about that long too.

Relaxing

They secured the laser to the BB gun with a rubber band.

Josh's crepes

Thumbs up to crepes! Mom made an orange marmalade cream cheese filling for them. Scrumptious!

Eating left over popcorn after breakfast. Stale popcorn is actually really good!

There's nothing like a mom's back scratch.

Ryan and Kelsey were heading out to Holdrege this morning. Josh was going with them, so they stopped in to pick him up. We were all hoping against hope that they'd bring Buggy in. Sure enough, they did! So we got to say goodbye to them all.
