Uncle Mike's birthday falls on May 5, the Mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo, so we're always teasing him about it. :)
Anyway, they planned a get together to celebrate his birthday and look at their Ireland pictures.
Abi and I made Uncle Mike one of his favorite desserts, peanut butter creme pie. We also got him a gift card to his favorite restaurant, Big Fred's. Wow, was he ever excited about that gift card! I think that out of all the gifts, that was his favorite. :)
Sam accidentally shot this little bird.
It seemed fine, just slightly stunned. He put it somewhere safe, but then when the poor little thing tried to fly away later, the cat got it.

Uncle Mike can hook his phone up to the tv, so we were able to look at pictures without crowding around a computer screen.

It was so much fun reminiscing about our trip. I try not to talk about it a lot at church 'cause I don't want to be annoying, so it was great to have a whole evening devoted to memories!
