Lois Ann is Leaving...

Our friend, Lois Ann Chupp, will be leaving on Wednesday to serve for over a year at Faith Mission Home in Virginia. So, a surprise party was planned in her honor. :)

We were able to use the Massena school, which meant that we had the whole gym to ourselves! They also let the Chupp's have it for free and didn't even let us clean up! The janitor told us that that's what he's there for. :)

We arrived early to help the Chupps set up. Lois had been spending the past day and a half with her brother and sister in law, so that got her nicely out of the way. :)

Chupps made several yummy kinds of cookies.

The Chupp's famous seasoned pretzels!

We were so excited!

Whenever somebody arrived, we rushed them in since Lois was supposed to be there any minute. :)

Surprise! Unfortunately, the video we took is too big to upload. :(

She wasn't too surprised. A couple people had dropped comments here and there that practically gave it away.

These gymnastic mats were fun!

Katelyn was in seventh heaven with an unlimited choice of balls!

The dads took advantage of the comfy gymnastic pads. :)

The boys love playing "Knockout."

We played foursquare on really funny shaped "squares." :)

Rhoda and Amy were really cute sharing their ball.

Opening her gifts...

Everyone pitched in and helped to purchase a camera for her trip.

Mom stuffed a box full of goodies.

Dad was helping Rhoda jump.

Sweet Lou

The little people had such fun pushing each other around on these things!

Even the big people had fun on them! Watch as Edward flies out of left field and helps push. :D
(To those of you who like to correct, yes, Edward does come from the right, but left field means "surprising" or "unconventional.")

At one point during the evening, there were five games going on- volley ball, four square, life size Dutch Blitz, and bowling with basket balls. :)

They had a blast pushing this around the room... Sometimes right into the middle of the volley ball game.

Lynna found a snap thing and was pushing it around like a toy car. :)

Don had three balls in his arms and was kicking two or three back to the store room.
