Pinatas and Family Singing

On Easter Sunday, we planned to go to the bandshell park to "play" pinata. Ricardo had hand made a pinata for all the children. Scroll down to see the results! :)

Mom put these lovely spring flowers together and brought them to church.

After the fellowship meal, we made our way over to the park where Ricardo and helpers set up the pinata.

Gram was the first one to have a hit at it. I didn't get any pictures of her. :( After that, we started with the youngest and went all the way up to Jason. This is Amy whacking at it.

Then, Rhoda had a turn. They didn't blind fold the little children.

Tanya really went at it!

Marcus was the first of the "big" people to be blind folded. :)

Edward spun the older ones and several of them started hitting thin air. :)

Grace had the advantage of being taller.

Go, Brie!

Even Katelyn got a turn!

Any elongated pictures you see are stills from videos.

She was incredibly cute!

Last, but not least, Jason!

Edward gave him a good spin!

Everyone was cheering loudly and shouting directions, as you'll hear in the video...

Riot! Candy! BTW, Mom was gathering candy for the little people, not herself. :)

After the pinata, a game of volley ball was organized. We played that for awhile, then some of us decided to play four square. I think we left the park around 4:30. We invited Gavins, Gram, Ry and Kels, and Ricardo over to grill out. It was a really nice evening! Once it got dark, we gathered in the living room to sing. In this video, we are singing Father I Adore You in a three part round. We sang it through once, then Sam recorded it.
